Fruit & Nut Trees

All trees are grown on proven commercial root stocks and are zoned for the mid-west (zones 3-7)

When planting trees for wildlife, fruit will drop 0-6 weeks AFTER typical harvest dates, depending on nutrition and weather.

Even though some apple trees are self-fruitful, we recommend cross pollinating. Different strains of the same varieties will not pollinate each other. Golden Delicious and Crab Apples are generally used as the main pollinators in commercial plantings. Utilizing different varieties along with cider apples will help as well.
